Learn how to transform your judgments and arguments into understanding and peaceful interactions to meet needs. Learn how to really listen to your partner and share your understanding. Learn how to express yourself clearly and with compassion so your partner can hear and respond with care. Learn how to become heart-fully curious and connected to experience more joy in your relationship.

Who is it for?
Couples and partners who want to learn and practice the foundations of Compassionate Communication (NVC) to support intimate relationship. We request that everyone come with a partner.

Pre-requisite: We suggest that participants read Marshall Rosenberg’s book Nonviolent Communication, attend an introduction to NVC by visiting www.rmccn.org for a schedule of upcoming events, or listen to a 1-hour Introduction to NVC through www.nvcacademy.com

What to Bring
Please bring your lunch. Anything you may need for your comfort. Light snacks and teas will be provided. You are invited to bring snacks to share. Pen. An open heart and mind.

Facilitators:
David Shindoll, M.Ed, CNVC Certified Trainer and co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Compassionate Communication Center. David does couples/family mediation, communication coaching, and facilitates an NVC Facilitators Practice Group in Denver.

Kathy Ziola, MA, CNVC Certified Trainer, and founder of the NVC Trainer Development Program, has presented workshops and retreats in Compassionate Communication, personal growth, relationships and stress management over the past 25 years. She has worked as a psychotherapist in private practice and mental health agencies. She is passionate about supporting individuals and couples in having the quality of relationship they truly desire; relationships based on honesty and compassion.
