Compassionate Communication is a system and way of thinking that brings greater clarity, joy, and new possibilities to both our inner selves and our outer relationships.
In this 6-week introductory course we will cover:
- What blocks us from experiencing more fulfillment in conversation
- How to identify what you are feeling and needing and then be able to ask for what you want
- How to engage and connect deeply with others
- What to do around anger and its consequences
- Real-life relationship issues explored in a safe environment
Shifting our lens on life: how to view yourself, others, and life events through the Compassionate Communication mindset.
Exploring our judgments and how to rely instead on impartial observations.
More than sad, mad, and glad: exploring the nuances of feelings and how they point to important human needs.
Learning how to hear “no” and translate demands to requests.
Exploring anger: why it’s useful and how to compassionately channel its constructive energy.
Empathy and self-connection: deepening and nourishing connection with ourselves and others.
Jennifer Erwin is a life coach and has been a student of Compassionate Communication since 2009. Having studied under CNVC trainers such as Robert Gonzales, Jim and Jori Manske, and John Kinyon, Jennifer is passionate about the life-changing power of this practice and regularly uses it with her clients and in her personal life. Those who have worked with her report having a newfound sense of freedom and clarity in their relationships and their work.
