This series is open to all, with emphasis for accessibility and inclusion for those experiencing being underserved or under-represented or financial barriers.

All lived experiences are valued here, including experiences of NVC being used in ways that have been harmful.

We study NVC to improve our communication skills and enhance our relationships with ourselves, family, and friends. The next step is to use these skills to cultivate caring community. Being in the presence of others who share our commitment to NVC fortifies and nurtures us. The challenges humanity faces today cry out for community action. From discrimination and social justice to climate change to toxic social media, the combined efforts of dedicated communities are essential to bring about transformation. When we are divided and scattered, we flounder. When we practice creating a culture of care and evoking shared vision, we flourish.

The transforming impact of NVC lies not only in discovering how to cultivate deep meaningful relationships, but in extending those relationships into that caring community where we thrive. NVC offers a powerful solution for building a peace movement, not by criticism and convincing, but by invitation and connecting; by becoming curious about what matters to others as well as ourselves. Naturally, a community of care emerges. Nourished by diversity, rooted in universality, care and consideration spread, permeating our neighborhoods, our social institutions, our culture, our natural environment. Thus we change the world.

Join us for our Living NVC: Creating A Culture Of Care. Experience first hand the joy and support community brings as you deepen skills to cultivate care in your everyday life.
