Ki Smith is an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-trained contemplative psychotherapist, facilitator, mediator, and coach specializing in compassionate communication, power-consciousness, and conflict transformation. Ki’s approach centers on relational healing—helping individuals, couples, and communities move toward conflict with curiosity, kindness, and an openness to multiple truths. She is passionate about co-creating Beloved Community, where collective care, shared wisdom, and mutual empowerment support the transformation of personal, interpersonal, and systemic suffering.

With a background spanning mental health, restorative justice, and international work, Ki brings a deeply embodied, trauma-informed lens to NVC. Their teaching invites participants to recognize the intersections of power, privilege, and structural harm within communication dynamics, while cultivating the courage to engage in meaningful dialogue with integrity and care.
