While having an academic background in international relations and sustainable development, Lesya’s journey with NVC began with a recommendation to join a practice group in 2023 that was a Community Based NVC practice offered through the Rocky Mountain Compassionate Network. This warm invitation and community have changed the course of her life by introducing self-compassion, deepening needs, and providing the power of choice.
With 4 years of facilitation at an equine-assisted therapy organization, Lesya brings an experiential understanding of trauma-informed presence to facilitation. She lives in Mancos, CO where she co-facilitates restorative circle and dialogue practices, and is inspired by opportunities to weave Restorative Justice and NVC frameworks into a foundation for capacity-building towards inner and global peace.
Driven by a profound call towards reconciliation and compassionate communication, Lesya is passionate about empowering individuals, teams, and communities to transform conflict into personal growth and deeper connection with individual and collective needs.
