
Lydia Hooper is a hybrid professional with 20 years of experience facilitating a wide variety of workshops and learning experiences for all ages. She is known for her expertise in complex systems, participatory processes, and inclusive trauma-informed practice.
Lydia was first introduced to Nonviolent Communication concepts in a co-parenting class in 2013, and devoted herself to deeper practice after a training with CNVC Certified Trainer Susan Kaplan in 2018. She has actively participated in numerous coaching groups convened by Miki Kashtan, completed Sarah Peyton’s course in Trauma-Informed Mindfulness, and received a certificate for Equitable Facilitation from Roxy Manning through the Nonviolent Communication Academy.
Lydia is currently a restorative justice facilitator for The Conflict Center in Denver, and she facilitates climate grief to active hope workshops for CSU's Center for Environmental Justice. She is the creator of the 40 Day Listening Challenge and the Complex Everyday Conflicts podcast series.
