Mary May is a CNVC Certified Trainer with a background in education. She has enjoyed sharing NVC with students, parents and those who work with children, in addition to groups and couples since 2017.
She offers classes and sessions that include inquiry, self-connection, and practice to support awareness and integration. She currently offers Parenting with Trust and Connection with Holly Storm, as well as in- person NVC workshops NW Indiana.
Mary’s teaching background includes Secondary Social Studies, Gender Studies, Montessori Lower Elementary with a special focus on Peace Education, and Self-Directed Education. She taught in a variety of educational settings for fifteen years before having children. NVC supports her in articulating her awareness of power, choice and self-connection especially in relationship to children and learning.
Mary lives with her husband, their two daughters (ages 5 and 7) and their dog, Buddy, in Chesterton, Indiana, USA. In addition to offering NVC courses and workshops, she spends her days learning, playing and connecting with her family through self-directed homeschooling.
