Parenting with Trust and Connection

Stress Less, Connect More.

With Mary May And Holly Storm

Thursdays October - January, Beginning October 3rd, 11AM - 12:30PM MT

If you are like most parents, you might jump into either Power-Over or Permissive parenting.

Power-Over Parenting: You may have felt this before. When your frustration rises, maybe your chest tenses, your palms get sweaty, and you use your power as an adult to try just about anything, including nagging, bribes, shame, and punishment to get your child to do what you would like them to do.

Permissive Parenting: This is when the tide rolls in the other direction. There is an underlying frustration, but we choose to ignore it. Instead of standing in our power, we say, "Oh well! It's not worth fighting about." And we just give up.

  • Cultivate connection and trust
  • Nurture resilience
  • Transform conflicts into dilemmas
  • Use moments of frustration to better understand and improve your relationship with your child
  • Foster more willful cooperation without manipulation, shame, or punishments

In Parenting with Trust and Connection, Mary and Holly will share knowledge, tools, exercises, and guidance so you can learn and practice a third option: Power-With Parenting.

Power-With Parenting empowers families to hold what is important to the adult(s) and the child(ren). We transform conflicts into dilemmas so each family can find unique and creative solutions that best address what is important to each person while honoring individual abilities and family values.
