SEEN - A Film Screening About Parenting And Honoring Children
Saturday, Jan 10 11:30 AM MST
Seen is a transformative documentary that reveals how we cannot truly see our children until we’ve done the work of seeing ourselves. The film explores how healing our emotional wounds can transform not only our own lives but also the lives of our children. Offering tools to break generational patterns and build deeper connections, Seen invites viewers to spark the healing journey and create healthier, more compassionate families.
Directed by Hailey Bartholomew and produced by Sam Jockel, SEEN is a beautifully crafted 75-minute documentary released in 2025. The film brings together some of the world’s most trusted voices in parenting and child development, including Maggie Dent, Dr. Vanessa Lapointe, Nathan Wallis, and Lael Stone, to explore what children need most: to feel truly seen, heard, and understood.
With heartfelt stories, expert insights, and stunning visuals, SEEN offers a powerful invitation to pause, reflect, and connect with our children, and with ourselves.
RMCCN has actively been expanding it reach into the world of social networks. This offering is fruit born of that effort. The screening is being presented by Peace Talks, an organization born out of a love for Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and a desire to share it as widely as possible as a way to bring about deep transformation in people, families and communities, Peace Talks is based in New Zealand. They approached us and asked us to share it with our United States community. We are honored to support their efforts in spreading a vision and understanding that we deeply share with them.
