Facilitator Engagement Practice (FEP) Update!

Community Based NVC series continues in our efforts to provide you support in knowing, living, and being in an active NVC community. The FEP segment builds upon your basic skills and practices, developing your NVC facilitation skills We’ll co-create this segment based on what facilitation skills you have, what’s your learning edge, and possible topics for this series (see below).

COME JOIN US a rich series of co-learning, peer and Trainer feedback, discerning gifts and challenges of who you want to share NVC with.

Dates: January 4th and 5th retreat on zoom
Wednesdays, January 22nd - April 2nd - every other week on zoom.

Facilitator Engagement Practice (FEP) and Community Based NVC

Living a NVC practice in your life can be quite different than sharing NVC with others.

The focus will be on topics that support a continuing deepening of your own practice and development of your NVC facilitation skills to bring to others.

Proficiency in sharing NVC and who you are in the facilitator role are two concurrent themes for the three months. This includes offering NVC workshops, trainings, practice group, coaching, etc. in your role in your family, leadership, or community group. During the three months we’ll hold sessions, observe each other and gain experience in working with feedback.

RMCCN presents Authentical Us, a weekend of workshops, the 1st weekend in May. You may
want to consider offering or co-offering a workshop this weekend!

In this segment we hope to provide you with a list of mentors you can work with during these three months. This can include those who are already Accredited Facilitators and this training team.

Assessment Process for Accredited Facilitator

Seeing you “in action” is vital to applying for Accredited Facilitator. What is important is multifaceted: Your own learning edges. How you respond to feedback. Growing your own unique Facilitation style. Being present. Power with. Practicing vulnerability. Creating and holding a container that feels brave and safe for your participants. Integrating all the previous two groups into who you are becoming as a Compassionate Communication Facilitator. Playfulness and joy.

We’ll refer to CNVC and RMCCN Competencies areas.

This is another area we’ll co-design together, drawing upon many different programs being
offered in the NVC communities.

Your role and responsibility?
As a member in each of these three series, you will be responsible to hold the container to provide a brave space for learning and practice, be able to practice giving and receiving feedback, and to follow through in your commitments in your individual and our collective learning. Show up and be open to ask questions, participate and be in present to self and others.

  • Your own learning to stay in during challenging times and for celebrations
  • Responsibility, support and connection with others in the group
  • To keep records of
    • sessions you have attended
    • trainings that are from Certified Trainers or Accredited Facilitators
    • hours you have accumulated
  • When you show up, be fully present as possible, share openness and curiosity, show willingness to learn, grow and acknowledge your own capacity to stretch yourself and bring your whole self. Being a traveler who immerses themselves in the culture vs. a tourist who takes pictures of that culture.
