With Jessica Dancingheart

6 Thursdays Starting October 12, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM MDT

Are you longing to facilitate conversations that leave participants feeling empowered and connected, just like Sylvia M, did after participating in a community dialogue on racism:

“I’ve heard a million times that we have to learn to be comfortable with uncomfortable conversations on race. I didn’t realize I never had one of those conversations until I joined this workshop. I think five, ten, fifteen years from now, I will have been a better person for participating in this conversation. The space created by Jessica allowed for a truly transformational experience.” - Sylvia M

  • The neurobiology behind human interactions.
  • A broad overview of restorative justice principles and practices.
  • The steps that lead up to holding difficult conversations.
  • To set a clear intention for any conversation.
  • The 5 core human needs.

Your host and guide Jessica Dancingheart has almost two decades of experience learning, practicing and teaching Nonviolent Communication, The Work of Byron Katie, Restorative Justice, Aikido, and various spiritual modalities. Her work is biologically respectful, as it is informed by our modern day understanding of how the brain works. She offers one-on-one coaching; and, relationship building, sustaining and healing workshops geared to the public and for organizations. She facilitates community conversations on difficult topics, and conflict resolution/relationship repair dialogues. When she is not coaching people and teaching them relationship skills, Jessica is with the people she loves - connecting, engaging in creative projects, and/or actively enjoying the great outdoors. As a person who was raised in international communities and formally educated as a scientist and engineer, she brings a good balance of head, heart and body awareness to her work.
